NBA 2K21 – Player Customization Features On Next-Gen Consoles

NBA 2K21 is releasing on next-generation consoles in less than a week. The game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will offer a superior gameplay experience. Creating an in-game avatar is a huge part of the game. NBA 2K21 on next-gen comes with a new player builder that allows you to take customization to the next level.

The developers considered the players’ feedback and made some changes. When you will create your character, you will not select from preset skill breakdown pie charts anymore. Players will be able to adjust each rating of how they see fit. There will be a rating cap to keep things balanced.

As you can imagine, there will be limitations based on other choices you’ve made. You cannot take all attributes to the maximum value but you will have more freedom in creating a personalized character.

The badge system got some updates as well. You will be glad to know that some of your favorite badges are part of the game once again. Many badges were updated to have new functionality. You will also notice badges that are new to the game.

In case you are wondering if there are any removed badges, the answer is yes. You will acquire and equip badges just like you did before. Based on your performance in categories such as playmaking, finishing, or shooting, you will acquire badge points. These points are used to unlock badges in related categories.

NBA 2K21 next-generation players are encouraged to mix and match and check out other badge combos than the ones they have been using so far. The takeover is another feature that was reworked. This feature gives players the ability to take over games. It is one of the most popular features of the game. So far, players have been limited to eight general archetype-based takeovers.

The good news is that these eight archetypes have been expanded into 24. This means that now we have 24 takeover abilities to choose from. In honor of Kobe Bryant, the Mamba Mentality badge has been added. Players will get this badge after they get all the badge points. This badge allows them to change the takeovers any time they want.

The takeover is now a multi-tier system. After players decide their vitals and rating caps, they will have some badges to choose from. The selection is decided by the player build. Players will then select one ability for their primary attribute and one for the secondary. You can also use the same ability for both slots. NBA 2K21 is coming on next-gen consoles on November 12th. You can buy NBA 2K21 MT coins at the MTStacks store.
